NaNoWriMo Update Two

I’m at chapter eleven with almost 25 000 words written. I still don’t know where things are going I do know its time to make a huge shift in the story. I’ve been building up and now the group is almost together. The drama is about to start and the first world changing adventure is about to start.

I’ve been alternating between the story and a character writing in his journal. I don’t think I like it. I find I’m telling too much in a short space of time.

I’ve decided to keep writing after NaNoWriMo is done and try to get this book to between 80 000 and 100 000 words. It needs a lot of work and the editing alone will be killer but I’ll have written a novel and that’s all I’m aiming for now.

After this next section I’m going to need to shake things up a lot what should I do?

No one commented on the possible Title so here’s a poll with choices:

Thank you for your support and hopefully the middle will flow half as easy as the start.

I like Anya Gaia as well for a title name. It’s pretty.

    I voted! I like 1, 2, 5, or 7. 😀 Just please, don’t kill Paige. Please?

You’re awesome, I know you can write your novel! 😀

I like all the titles, actually. I chose Love, Death, and Mind Control, and Anya Gaia is a close second for me, but I’d probably also pick up a book with any of the titles mentioned.

Don’t make them go to an alternate reality…then you have to re-establish the setting and everything which drags up the story…not very user-friendly! Haha

In december, can I read/beta? That would be so much fun!

@Jen: I won’t kill Paige. She’s my favorite character. I might put her through hell but I won’t kill her.
@Claire: Thanks for the comment, glad to hear I have good ideas for titles.
@Linds: Consider it done. I plan on writing till mid december and then forget about it til January. I’ll go through it for a second draft and by February I’ll send it to Beta readers. You’re names on the list.

I thought you had decided on Viridian Skies. I really like that one! But whatever Jen wants I go with, so, please her, you please me. ;oP Anyway, can’t wait to read it! You’d better let me read it! There will be a reward for you and Jen if you do! (I’m sure Jen will know what I’m talking about!)

    Hey,

Viridian Skies, would be my choice, and since you’re on a forth of your book now, it’s about time for a good initial plot twist. So shake things up a little by introducing a villan, or some things mind go very ugly, to turn out good -ish, in the end.

    Cheers,

    Odin
